MathewsOn the fourth anniversary of the Iraq invasion, President Bush called for patience, Democrats urged a redeployment of U.S. troops, and protesters took to the streets from Washington to California. In an interview on The Newshour with Jim Lehrer, Carnegie President Jessica T. Mathews joined other experts to react to the president's comments and the political battle over what to do next. Among the topics they discussed are the troop increase, continuing violence and growing calls to withdraw.
