Strengthening the International Legal Order

The foundations of the international legal order are weakening, thanks to growing violations of international law by great powers and their allies, as well as mounting global frustration with perceived double standards and hypocrisy. The Global Order and Institutions program examines what can be done to bolster respect for and accountability to international law, including UN Charter provisions regarding the use of force and international humanitarian law.
